Hannah van Schie
Director - Marist Way
Hannah is the Director of Marist Laity, a school librarian and a busy mum of three kids!
She is responsible for leading the Marist Laity office - writing reflections each month, hosting retreats, workshops, liturgies and sometimes pilgrimages!
Hannah is also kept busy overseeing volunteers, engaging with Parishes and coordinating our Cuppa and Play playgroup.

Fr Frank Bird
Marist Way Chaplain. Resource Development
Frank is a Marist priest and wears many hats here at Whanau Maria.
He is part of the Marist Laity team and a special focus on creating and curating useful Marist resources.
As well as supporting the team in delivering retreats, workshops, masses and spirituality days, he is involved in spiritual direction, vocations and young adult ministry. Frank also coordinates a project called “Living the Word” which is a scripture based resource he publishes each week.

Carmel Turnbull
Family Ministries Co-Ordinator
Carmel works one day a week in the Marist Laity office as our Family Ministry Coordinator.
She is a Social Worker and busy wife and mum of two girls.
She keeps busy in the office supporting the team with hosting retreats, workshops, liturgies and more!
